These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Le Collectif platform, website, and associated services ("Services") operated by Le Collectif Ltd ("Le Collectif", "we", "us"). By signing up, joining our waitlist, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
These Terms apply to all users, including independent creators ("Creators") and brands, agencies, or other commercial entities ("Clients").
Le Collectif is a content marketplace that connects Clients with Creators to produce authentic video content. The platform enables Clients to:
Important: Le Collectif delivers video content assets. Finished deliverables, edits, and post-production remain the Client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in a separate written addendum. Clients own the right to post-produce, edit, and publish the licensed assets as they see fit.
You must register an account to access the platform. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
Creators must complete our onboarding process, provide portfolio samples, and agree to the Creator-specific terms presented during registration. Creator accounts are subject to approval by Le Collectif.
All content submitted by Creators must:
By submitting content to Le Collectif in response to a Client brief, you grant Le Collectif a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content on the platform for matching purposes. Upon the Client's acceptance of content and completion of payment, you grant the Client a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use the delivered assets in accordance with the brief scope. You retain the underlying copyright in your work. Le Collectif is not a co-author of any content.
Payment rates are set out in the relevant brief or Creator agreement. Le Collectif processes payments upon Client acceptance of delivered content, minus the platform's service fee (disclosed at the time of brief acceptance). Payment is made to your nominated account within the timeframe specified in your Creator agreement.
Clients must submit a content brief that clearly describes the requirements, intended use, territory, and any demographic or cultural parameters. Le Collectif may assist in writing or shaping your brief; however, the Client is ultimately responsible for the brief's accuracy and compliance with applicable laws (including advertising standards).
Upon payment, the Client receives a licence to the delivered stock-footage assets as set out in Section 4.3. Clients are free to edit, adapt, dub, and publish the content for their own commercial purposes. Le Collectif does not retain editorial control over how Clients use licensed assets in their own post-production and publication.
Clients may not:
Clients agree to the pricing set out in their agreed brief or subscription plan. Payments are non-refundable once a Creator has been matched and briefed, except where the delivered content materially fails to meet the agreed brief specifications. Disputes must be raised within 14 days of content delivery.
